Happy New Year 2025

Before traveling to New Zealand with my sister's family, my mom came to give my sons red envelopes and stayed for three days.

My brother-in-law prescribed Chinese medicine to Regis. In mid-December, my dad brought it to him and stayed with us for two nights.

My mom underwent cataract surgery in Kaohsiung again on Dec.20, and then my dad a week later. Thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for taking care of them.

I've noticed that 13-year-old Regis's voice seems to be changing this month. His voice sounds a little raspy when he sings high notes. He performed piano and singing on the evening of Dec.20. Thanks to the choir conductor for giving him a solo part so I could record his growth.

After Daniil Trifonov's concert in 2020 and Seong-Jin Cho's piano recital last year, my children and I went to Evgeny Kissin's recital this month.

My mom arrived the night before my birthday and stayed with us for three days. I took the opportunity to give her more meat for protein. It's a blessing to have her spend my birthday with me after I get married!

On Nov. 23 and 24, the weekend before my children's midterms, I watched baseball games on TV with them. How exciting for Taiwan to shut out World No.1 Japan and win the WBSC Premier 12 2024!
