I had a great start to the Christmas month. I got a cash prize from Parent
Association on the 1st morning for training the choir to participate in
the annual music competition.We celebrated my husband's birthday at 饗食天堂, which offered 15 percent discount, on Friday afternoon the 5th.
We spent the weekend with my parents in Taichung before they left for China. When
my husband was in a hair salon Sunday morning, my kids and I used a paper cake
box of Amo, fresh flowers, leaves and stickers, and borrowed a marker from Starbucks
and tape from a bakery to make a card for him. 小小肚 loves noodles. We lunched at Joy's Cafe, an Italian restaurant. It uses blank paper table covers and offers crayons, so customers can enjoy painting there.
We went to 435 Art Zone and bumped into my senior high school classmate 玟君 on the 14th evening.
The kindergarten informed me on the cell phone Felix was infected with an enterovirus on the 18th and suspended from school for a week. And, I guess my 2nd child also got infected because I found rash on his hands last Sat.! My dad arrived to care for them Sunday afternoon.
I used to attend conferences and seminars before having my children. Now, they grow up and can sit in class already. They went to a conference on musical production with me last Sat.
After the conference, we walked to 228 Park and have dinner near Taipei Railway Station. A lot of walking for my kids, long distance walkers like me!
Felix always wets his bed. I promised to take him to Perfume Dance to reward him for waking up himself to pee for once. Miraculously, he hadn't wet the bed for 4 days since his grandfather arrived.
As they wished, Felix found his presents from Santa on the piano and his brother found his under the quilt on Christmas morning! He went back to school happily.
