Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off at Lohas Park

We bought a Maple Leaf 106, 1/4 size violin for $5000 and there were two teachers giving trial lessons in Jan. Regis will start violin lessons in March. He can't wait for it!
Winter break started Jan. 25. School starts Feb. 21. The teachers in my school still went to prepare lessons and made window collage on the first day.

We found good hotel deals in the middle of January so took a 4 day trip to Hualien and stayed at Chateau de Chine ($5861.4 for 2 nights, breakfast) and Parkview Hotel ($2680, breakfast) before Regis took part in a piano competition.

Almost 6.5 year old Regis was sick on vacation and I just noticed he has a permanent tooth growing in behind one of his lower front baby teeth. We took him to the dentist to pull it before leaving Hualien.

My mom visited us the next day after we came home. My sis and her children visited us for 3 days before traveling to Australia this month. For the four grandchildren, my mom came stay with us again. We saw The Beautician And The Beast before she went home.

My 8 year old nephew from my husband side arrived on the 9^th and left for my parents' with us on Valentine's Day. We went enjoy hot springs in 烏來 before the Lunar New Year holiday. I won this free dress through FB last month.

On New Year's Day, we visited Cat On The Roof, 興隆 Towel Factory and Yunlin Puppet Museum with my nephew.

We went hiking at 大坑 with my parents and brother and had dinner at 陶然左岸 on the 18^th. My brother just came back from his 5 day business trip to Beijing last week. My sons are crazy about Three Kingdoms recently. One of my new year's resolutions: travel to China (Beijing, Luoyang and Xi'an) with my parents, sis and her children this summer!
