Felix's taken a 2 month break from Genius English School and Yamaha before this March. Regis will take a one month break from piano lessons and 1.5 months from Yamaha. We need to relax! Felix and I enjoyed playing board games at school Wed. afternoon, Jan. 4.
My husband's colleague invited us and another family to 八煙 Spring again and we invited my former colleague's family to go together on the 7th. We, 4 families 7 boys met at 萬里 Elementary School at 18:00. This time we took a different route because 八煙 Village is closed now. After dinner, we hiked to the hot springs with torches in the dark. It's fun to hold on to a rope to cross a creek and I tried a mud mask! The boys were happy to make new friends too.
Before winter break starts on the 20th, I got waffles and nut tarts from my students and a sheep ring from Regis! He picked this as the prize for 5 happy faces at kindergarten. He didn't choose a toy like he used to! He said "I was afraid that my classmates would laugh at me, so I told them this was for my mommy." I was touched!
