Valentine’s Day 2019

Regis went to school with a new school backpack happily, Felix got new ASICS shoes (C707N-400, deep ocean, size 24) for $1260 and we had a buffet lunch at 饗食天堂 on Feb.13.

Winter break started Jan. 19. School starts Feb. 11. The teachers in my school prepared lessons and made bottle cap mural on the first day of winter break. The teachers of 林口 Elementary School came prepare lessons with us in the morning.

We left for our hometowns and stayed at my in laws' on Jan. 20. When my husband attended a workshop in Chiayi the next day, my sis-in-law drove me and my sons around Huwei. After he came back, we left for my parents'. My dad stayed with my sister for a few days. My mom's alone. We visited my uncle in Miaoli with her on the way home on Jan. 22.

We did a round Taiwan trip again! Nine months later, we went back to Taitung to enjoy great mountain and ocean views with my parents and sister and her kids. My sister's taken 1 year leave from work. She planed the 4 day trip with hotel allowances from the government. My dad came stay with us before we set off for the east. He, my husband  and I took turns driving.

We stayed in Hualien for 1 day on the way to Taitung and the next night met my sis and my mom, who came from Kaohsiung.

My aunt (my mom's younger sis) told us through Line that my big uncle (my mom's oldest brother) is in the hospital and suffering from terminal lung cancer. I'm worried. I hope he won't suffer too much.

My brother came back from China for Lunar New Year holiday. My dad went home. My husband went back to his hometown.

My mom went home this afternoon. We had dinner and had fun with my niece's piano teacher and her son at Dream Mall till it closed.

We left my sister for my in laws' on Lunar New Year's Eve.

Feb. 6, Wed

Yunlin→ Kaohsiung

My sons and I went back to my sister's by train to meet my parents and brother on the second day of Lunar New year. We walked along Love River after dinner.

Kaohsiung→ Taichung

My dad drove my sons and me to Taichung. We had dinner in Yunlin. My husband arrived in Taichung from his hometown earlier.

Feb. 9, Sat

Taichung→ Miaoli→ home

We finished our amazing two week trip today! We saw my big uncle, who's been single all his life, at Dachuan Hospital in the afternoon. Regis made a water bead craft for him. He looked good. I can't believe he's going to die of lung cancer. After we left the hospital, tears welled up in my eyes.
