election weekend

I love buffet. Yesterday afternoon we planed to enjoy delicious food at Harbour Buffet Restaurant at Taimall, just opened Nov.7 and was fully booked online till next Feb. We arrived and tried to wait for a table. But, still no!!! We went to Mr. Onion in the end.

My husband's a poll worker today, which means I spent the whole day on my own with the children again. We lunched at Irodori Sushi, visited King Stone Bookstore at Mega City for a storytime this afternoon, had dinner at Café Grazie and then went to a free live broadcast performance of Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra at Main Plaza.

 

saturday outing to 淡水-八里

Instead of driving to today's destination, we took public transportation: bus, MRT and ferry. We rented a bike built for 4 to ride along 淡水 River in 八里 in the cool late afternoon. My kids enjoyed all the rides today!

We lunched at Fifteen Italian Restaurant. Good view and atmosphere with pleasant classical music. Food is fair.

simple birthday

I created this blog as a memory for my kids and for us. I know one day we'll look back and want to remember each wonderful moment with detail, and my kids will know what life was like for us.
It's the most nervous birthday morning of my life! After the annual music competition, we lunched at TGI Fridays.

We celebrated without a cake because of the fake and toxic food scandals.
