During 48 hours after PDT

I underwent PDT on Dec.19 afternoon. After that, I wore sunglasses, gloves, and mask to keep away from sunlight and strong light. I ate and listened to the music on the radio in the dark room during 2 days. My in-law cooked for me. My eye has been red since I got a steroid shot on Dec.21. Thank my hubby, parents, and in-law for being with me.

News

I bought a brand-new Yamaha upright piano Oct.4. It took almost 4 months of my salary! Also, I started wearing braces Oct.26 after having 2 upper teeth taken out. The health insurance doesn't include this part, so it takes about 3.5 months of my salary! I ate soft food the first few days. It doesn't that hurt as I expected. What I dislike is cleaning teeth takes much time.
There's something wrong with my left eye. I went to 亞東 Hospital and National Taiwan University Hospital. The doctors said I had macula lutea hemorrhage, so I went to NTUH again to undergo a fluorescein angiogram and fundus photographs on Nov.14 morning. Soon I'll undergo Photodynamic Therapy (PDT). Hope the treatment will go well.
My dad got some small fish and the next day one guppy had babies. My brother's finding a job. My grandma who's 90, got skin cancer. She and her children decided to give up the treatment. I plan to go see her next month.

Celebrate!

It's our birthday month! We went to ikki this evening because I just got a birthday coupon today. I'm wearing braces. My considerate hubby made some bite-sized pieces for me. Besides, the yearly music competitions were finally over today. The school choir got a good result. What an exciting day!

Taiping Mt. trip

After staying 1 night at my little uncle's in Yi-Lan, my hubby and I left for Taiping Mt. on 22. It started raining on the way. We arrived at the visitor center in the afternoon and booked a room. $2500 including supper and breakfast. It's raining, so we planed to explore Taiping Mt. the next morning. We watched TV and ate some snacks in the room. We had a nice sleep under the thick quilts during the cold and quiet night.
It's cool in the forest. Hm... a little bit cold in the rain. So I wore 2 spaghetti strap blouses and a long skirt the next day. Those were all I brought. It cleared up in the morning, but we knew it'd rain again in the afternoon. So we had to move faster! You can't miss taking the
Bong Bong train in the Taiping Mt. Of course, we did it! We took a train at 10:30 to Maosing station and hiked to Sandie Falls. It takes about 1.5 hrs to the falls, so most of the visitors just walked around near the Maosing station and then took the train back. We decided to get rid of the noisy visitors and hike down to the falls.
I loved the cool weather and fresh air and tall trees surrounded me. Phytoncidere and anions made our skin smooth. Around an hour later, it rained as expected and then I felt hungry. We didn't bring any food. Also, the pictures of mudflows and landslides came into my head because a typhoon just left a few days ago. I wanted to give up halfway. My hubby kept encouraging me. Finally, we made it! The big waterfall greeted my eyes. There were a family and a group of young women when we arrived. My hubby asked them for some food. We're lucky. The women gave us some bread and the family gave us some leftover glutinous oil rice. We didn't stay long because of rain. Ah~ another 1.5 hrs hiking in the rain and it's uphill on the return trip. I was exhausted and got all wet, but I was glad I made it again. After we went back to the visitor center from about 6 km hiking, having a cup of hot instant noodles was a luxury!

Wear braces?

I'm thinking about wearing braces lately. My ma has persuaded me to do it. I've searched for info on the net these two days. I have a great fear of pain. A dentist said I'll have to have 6 teeth (including 4 wisdom teeth) pulled out. It scared me! 3 dentists said it'd take me 1.5~2 yrs. to wear braces. What if I plan to get pregnant? It'll be inconvenient. Anyway, I need the courage to wear braces.

honeymoon 2007

We visited Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Holland before the summer. Too bad our Canon camera was out of order and we lost the pictures taken in Austria! The tour guide lent us his Sony camera and we bought a memory card.

Being a happy bride

We went to 饒河 St. to have facial fuzz removed March 30. Can you imagine she plucked my fuzz and eyebrows with a piece of thread and a clip? It hurt! I won't do that again.
My honey gave me the diamond. I bought the art work to decorate our living room. We went to 淺水灘 and learned to pose for our wedding album today.

    I started yoga classes today!

Can you believe that? I couldn't!
It's been a long time since I've wanted to go to a yoga class. But due to laziness, I didn't start it. A colleague told me there's a yoga class near my place after school and it's cheap. Classes are on Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6pm. $1800 for a 16-class session. Of course, I can't miss it. I got a yoga mat ($400). The teacher is friendly. I felt safe with her and knew I could truly let go and give into the process. A bit of music made me clam during the class. I felt comfortable after the exercises in breath control, relaxation and strength. I'm happy I finally find some time to exercise. Hope yoga brings me a nice figure for my wedding.

    Beautiful interior design

After supper, we went to see a new apartment for fun. We don't plan to find a new one at this time, though. I loved the show house. I looked like a peeress in the living room!
