The last time I saw her was during this lunar New Year holiday. She passed away from skin cancer at 8:30 this morning, the 7th day after Tomb Sweeping Day. My dad told me on the cell phone when I was in class. I don't know the details. Hopefully, she passed away in her sleep peacefully. I tried in vain to get into contact with my hubby. We'll meet my brother and sis in Taichung and then go to 南投 (where my dad grew up, where my grandparents lived) together this evening.
