We're on holiday in Hualien and stayed at Parkview Hotel for 3 nights before Felix and his cousin joined 8 day cello camp in Kaohsiung. He stayed with my sister's family. The cello camp ended with a concert on July 18. My parents and sister went to the concert. On the same day Regis took part in Taiwan Music Competition.
After Felix came back for summer classes, Regis and I went down to spend 10 days with my sister's family. We had lunch with two of my college classmates at Chuju waffle. So happy that I can meet my classmates every year after graduation. We met my husband and Felix in Taichung on the way home to celebrate Felix's birthday with my dad and brother at 和牛涮 (Wagyushabu). Felix looked as tall as me already!
On the way to my hometown Taichung on Aug.11, we went see my grandma's house in Miaoli, which is full of my childhood memories. After my grandma and uncles passed away, the house was sold. By the way, it's nice to see my aunts, uncle and cousins in the town. They gave us organic vegetables and fruits.
Regis had a 5-day school science course in mid-August. Besides, both of my kids took 5 day swimming classes. It's originally a 10-day course. Felix tested positive for Covid-19 on Aug.22, so we had to cancel the rest of the classes.
