My dad stayed with us during 228 Holiday and brought some vegetables. We visited Dawulun Fort and Lovers Lake on Feb. 29.

winter break 2020 八里 Juifen 鼻頭角
Winter break started Jan. 21. Due to China's coronavirus outbreak, the start of the second term originally scheduled for Feb.11 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 25. All the teachers in my school go back to work on Feb. 24. My sons took 3 day swimming class before the Lunar New Year's Eve. Originally Felix had 5 day science research course and Regis had 3 day writing class after the holiday. Both were cancelled.
We spent 6 days at my sister's family in Kaohsiung. My parents and brother were there for the Lunar New Year holiday too. We went pick a full size cello at 維音 on the way to Kaohsiung and decided to buy a Maple Leaf 201 cello for $45000.
We bought a LG PuriCare™ 360º Air Purifier for $15900. It arrived on Feb. 2 when we came back from holiday.

Felix's piano teacher, Ms. Lee, who taught Regis for 3 years and then taught Felix for almost 2 years, is too busy to come to our place anymore. Felix went to her studio 3 times a month for almost 5 months. I found new in home piano teachers for my sons. Yang Tsao and Ms. Chen. The tuition is much more expensive! They'll start teaching this March, 3 times a month. We had lunch with Ms. Lee at URANIUM to thank her on Feb. 3.
For keeping away from crowds, we spent the last weekdays of the winter break visiting north coast: Bali, Danshui, Juifen and Bitou Cape. Last time we visited Bitou Elementary School was almost 8 years ago with my dad!
