Halloween spider pumpkin

Oct. 30, 2012
Felix’s kindergarten had Halloween activities this morning. We went shopping for his costume at Carrefour on Sunday afternoon. We chose a pumpkin costume and tried to persuade him to wear a pumpkin hat. In the end, we got a spider hat, which didn’t go with the pumpkin costume. But, he really liked it!

I’m too lazy to get a new costume, so Felix wears the same costume 2 years in a row. He made the pumpkin bag in the kindergarten last year and the pumpkin hat this year. I bet he couldn't wait to go around the neighborhood with his class filling his bag with delicious candy this morning.

Daniil Trifonov concerto evening with NSO at National Concert Hall

I went see this Russian pianist concert with my sons this evening. They did homework during recess. Just after they came home from school, we left for the 50 min pre-concert talk and had Mos seafood rice burgers for dinner. After a busy weekday, they dozed off for a while during the second half.😴
The encore pieces were amazing! His interpretation was exquisite.👍
Felix likes Trifonov after watching his YouTube videos when practicing Chopin this summer. So, when his piano teacher told us Trifonov would come to Taiwan, I purchased the cheapest ticket NT$1200 per person last week! Felix's started practicing Liszt Gnomenreigen since the middle of the month. Trifonov's video is on our YouTube playlist too.

program:
Wagner Prelude to Act 1, from Lohengrin
Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1 in C Major, Op.15
Wagner Prelude to Act 3, from Lohengrin
Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3 in C minor, Op.37
encore pieces:
Beethoven Sonata No.18 in E-Flat Major, Op.31 and No.3 III. Menuetto Moderato e grazioso
By the way, I can't wait to see Moscow Classical Ballet's Swan Lake in Dec. I also purchased the cheapest ticket NT$800 per person.

National Day weekend camping at 紮營趣

It's our 12th camping trip since 2015 and our first 3-day camping. We did with my junior high classmate 曉琳senior high classmate Yi-Chun and their friendat 紮營趣, Miaoli. 5 families. Regis told me a secret that he likes a Taiwanese Japanese mixedblood girl. He said he already told Felix.
It takes only about 12 minute drive from the campsite to Dahu town, so we had lunch at a restaurant and shopped at 自由 Supermarket on the second day. The shower area is bright, clean and well-equipped. I got several mosquito bites as souvenirs of this camping trip as usual > <
