Taiping Mt. trip

After staying 1 night at my little uncle's in Yi-Lan, my hubby and I left for Taiping Mt. on 22. It started raining on the way. We arrived at the visitor center in the afternoon and booked a room. $2500 including supper and breakfast. It's raining, so we planed to explore Taiping Mt. the next morning. We watched TV and ate some snacks in the room. We had a nice sleep under the thick quilts during the cold and quiet night.
It's cool in the forest. Hm... a little bit cold in the rain. So I wore 2 spaghetti strap blouses and a long skirt the next day. Those were all I brought. It cleared up in the morning, but we knew it'd rain again in the afternoon. So we had to move faster! You can't miss taking the
Bong Bong train in the Taiping Mt. Of course, we did it! We took a train at 10:30 to Maosing station and hiked to Sandie Falls. It takes about 1.5 hrs to the falls, so most of the visitors just walked around near the Maosing station and then took the train back. We decided to get rid of the noisy visitors and hike down to the falls.
I loved the cool weather and fresh air and tall trees surrounded me. Phytoncidere and anions made our skin smooth. Around an hour later, it rained as expected and then I felt hungry. We didn't bring any food. Also, the pictures of mudflows and landslides came into my head because a typhoon just left a few days ago. I wanted to give up halfway. My hubby kept encouraging me. Finally, we made it! The big waterfall greeted my eyes. There were a family and a group of young women when we arrived. My hubby asked them for some food. We're lucky. The women gave us some bread and the family gave us some leftover glutinous oil rice. We didn't stay long because of rain. Ah~ another 1.5 hrs hiking in the rain and it's uphill on the return trip. I was exhausted and got all wet, but I was glad I made it again. After we went back to the visitor center from about 6 km hiking, having a cup of hot instant noodles was a luxury!

Wear braces?

I'm thinking about wearing braces lately. My ma has persuaded me to do it. I've searched for info on the net these two days. I have a great fear of pain. A dentist said I'll have to have 6 teeth (including 4 wisdom teeth) pulled out. It scared me! 3 dentists said it'd take me 1.5~2 yrs. to wear braces. What if I plan to get pregnant? It'll be inconvenient. Anyway, I need the courage to wear braces.
