birthday month 2020

I created this blog and YouTube channel as memories for myself and family. I know one day we'll look back and want to remember each wonderful moment with detail, and my children will know what life was like for us. I'm grateful that I can enjoy my life and have a stable job and two lovely sons. Especially so thankful to my parents, brother and sister! Also, I thank my relatives, friends, colleagues and strangers who ever helped and encouraged me.
We have a very tight schedule as usual. Midterm exams, two-day piano teaching conference & paper presentation at NTUE, Kawai piano competitionchoir performance, and New Taipei City Student Competition of Music. I'm so glad that both of my sons and I were together on stage for the first time! Felix went for a two-day trip to 大雪山 (Da Syue Mt.) with school science research club after midterms. I hope my sons learn to make good use of time.
My sons' midterm exam results are the best birthday gifts! Felix ranked 2nd in the class. Regis ranked 3rd. Both of them got top scores on science exams in their classes. Besides, I'm so proud that Regis's elected as a model student in his class! He suffered from severe allergies to his eyes and skin.
I have a student teacher this term. Perhaps it's the second time during my 16 year teaching career, so I feel more comfortable. There were one to three student teachers in my classes in Sep. You know that feeling of being watched so I have to be on my best behavior? On the other hand, there are good things to having student teachers. Gives me a break and I can see a different style of teaching and learn things too. That's always good.
My father-in-law stayed with us for almost three weeks. He had heart surgery at FEMH on Nov. 9. I feel sad my mother needs an insulin injection once a day from Nov.16.
