Felix started composition lessons in June and Regis in August, on average once a month. They take 10 day swimming lessons every summer and this year was no exception.
My husband's nephew came to Taipei for 10 days in July and stayed with his little aunt. During that time, he came stay with us for two nights. And then, Regis also went stayed at his little aunt's on July 13. The next day, Felix also visited her after his fever had gone down. They had a good time with their cousins there.
Regis took the transfer exam on July 15 and was successfully admitted to Nanshan High School. Summer school starts Monday, July 29 through Friday, Aug.23. He took the first week off due to the Yilan trip. He's stung by a jellyfish while swimming in the Pacific Ocean and got slight inflamed marks on the right arm. And, we all got sunburned. I'm the worst.
Before school started, my kids and I traveled south to Kaohsiung to stay at my sister's house, where my dad and brother were also staying. We had lunch with my college classmate and her daughter at petit doux before coming back. A happy ending to the summer vacation of 2024.
