My sister's family travelled to Japan during 228 holiday. My dad and brother came to spend the holiday with us. We went hiking together. My dad visited us again on March 9, bringing us white radish cakes and dumplings made by my aunt, and he went home the next day.

I joined Curves on March 11th and started exercising! My goal is to go 3 times a week!

We visited my uncle who owns a photo shop to take passport photos on March 29, and I went to the Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to apply for new passports on April 1.

We did our 17th camping trip with my sister's family, my junior high classmate and her friends at 668, Hsinchu at the end of May. My sister's family's first time! Just before leaving for camping, I learnt that my cousin had passed away from cancer. We visited my aunts on the way home on the eve of Dragon Boat Festival. I love going back to my mom's hometown, a place full of wonderful memories! As always, I always come home with lots of love and food.

winter break 2025 Hualien Taichung

The day after the lesson preparation day, we left for Hualien for 3 days. My sister's family, my parents and brother traveled to New Zealand, so we didn't spend the Lunar New Year holiday with them.

My uncle passed away just before winter break, and two days before Lunar New Year's Eve we went back to my mom's hometown to offer incense. A place filled with fond memories of my childhood. It’s really nice to chat with my aunts and cousins.

My kids and I spent the Lunar New Year holiday in my hometown. They spent most of their time studying at coffee shops or McDonald's and playing online games at my parents' house. I hung out with my college friend on the first day of the Lunar New year. My husband came from his hometown to join us at night. We took the kids back to the junior high I attended to play basketball on the second day of the Lunar New Year, and we went to the high school I attended the next day. We went back home on the fourth day of new year. The new term begins on Feb.11th.
