Christmas month 2024 小水滴合唱團

My brother-in-law prescribed Chinese medicine to Regis. In mid-December, my dad brought it to him and stayed with us for two nights.

My mom underwent cataract surgery in Kaohsiung again on Dec.20, and then my dad a week later. Thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for taking care of them.

I've noticed that 13-year-old Regis's voice seems to be changing this month. His voice sounds a little raspy when he sings high notes. He performed piano and singing on the evening of Dec.20. Thanks to the choir conductor for giving him a solo part so I could record his growth.

Felix's exam scores were so good that Rulin Cram School offered a term of free math and English courses. He took the senior high school entrance exam on May 18th and 19th and graduated from junior high on June 4. He performed Julius Klengel Cello Concertino No.1 in C Major, Op.7 Allegro at Soochow University at the end of June. My dad traveled north from Kaohsiung to see him perform.

We bought a Maple Leaf 201 full size violin for $28000 on May 18 and had Felix's cello repaired for $14000.

Christmas month 2023 金鶯露營 柯文哲

We did our 16th camping trip with my junior high classmate and her friends at 金鶯露營園地, Hsinchu on the second weekend of December.

I started to take Diovan again on Dec.21. The doctor prescribed one tablet (80mg) a day. I try to watch YouTube videos to do 10 min cardio every day.

My children and I spent the New Year holiday with my brother and mom in Taichung, my hometown.

Our home is bustling this summer. My dad took my nephew to stay with us at the end of June. My nephew stayed for a month and took 10 day swimming lessons with my sons. We went to see Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One on July 11. My husband's nephew stayed with us for two nights after we came back from a river tracing trip in the south in mid July. Also, my brother stayed for 5 days. My mom took my niece to stay with us on the night of July 22. That night, Felix started to have a fever after swimming and was diagnosed with influenza A the next day. Two days later, Regis, my nephew and I were all diagnosed with influenza A! My brother went home. We stayed in the master bedroom for a few days so that my husband and niece would not get infected. My niece and nephew went home on Aug.4.

I hadn't seen my little aunt and cousin from the US for many years. It's great to finally meet up on Aug.9 before they went back the next day! My sons played chamber music at Dou Kitchen on Aug.20. We visited Yilan again two months later. This time, we visited Fushan Botanical Garden, Donggang Banyan Park and Sheng Yang Farm and had a birthday celebration with my junior high classmate's family. Her daughter and Regis have the same birthday!
