round-Taiwan trip 2012

We spent almost two weeks driving around the island and meeting some of my college classmates. We hadn’t visited Hualien or Taitung for 5.5 years. Last time we went to celebrate New Year 2007. This time we visited again with our kids!

I'm happy to have you as my child. You're the love of my life. I wish you a life full of happiness, love, and joy!

小小肚’s birthday is also coming soon. These birthday boys got some great toys. My sister gave them Thomas & Friends Railway. Yoko, my old friend from Japan, gave them a Takara Tomy police car and a fire truck. 小肚 plays with these toys everyday! Besides, my husband and I gave them a round-Taiwan trip. Surely, these brothers had a great birthday summer!

my little helper

With a new little brother and a few extra stresses, my 1st son 小肚, who'll turn 3 tomorrow, has probably felt a little lost in the shuffle of our ever changing lives. I feel sorry.
My 2nd son peed on the floor. 小肚 told me and went get a piece of cloth to mop it. How sweet!

Welcome, my little baby!

After coming back from Carrefour at about 20:00, I felt labor pains at regular intervals. We arrived at the hospital at 21:00 and I was 4 cm dilated. Soon my little one came out at 22:43. I couldn't believe the labor process was that quick! Thank you for being a support to me in labor, honey!
Aug. 27, 2011
After I endured the pain to unclog my blocked milk ducts, it's exciting it took me 50 minutes to get 75c.c. last morning and almost 100c.c. this morning (1 week after labor) and my baby ate 135c.c. within an hour for lunch today! His umbilical cord fell off last morning.

Sep. 4

My 2 week old ate 720c.c. today, including breast milk 490c.c. and some formula, and he pooed 8 times! Didn't he eat too much?

My breasts start to drip when I look at my baby or hold him in my arms.
Oct. 5
I'm grateful to have my dad help me take care of my sons. Being a full-time mother is a wonderful job! My dad and I started to take my sons to go around, and we're planning a train trip to I-Lan. So excited!

Oct. 16

My angel baby doesn't need to fall asleep in my arms, and he can sleep through the night without eating. My 2 year 2 months old can follow a daily schedule. It proves worthwhile to be a full-time mother.

Dec. 26

My dad has gone on a trip to 海南島 with my mom since Dec.19. I take care of my terrible 2 year old and 4 month old (has been drinking less milk than usual) by myself in the daytime. What a hard work!
Feb. 4, 2012
I'm a little sad that I don't have enough breast milk. Today is the last day I collected my breast milk for my baby. On the other hand, it means I'll have more free time!

March 4

My 2nd son's appearance is a copy of his brother, but he's been shorter since he's born. However, he's nimbler. He can turn his body over at 5.5 months and move backward at 6 months, and likes to play on his tummy, sit and stand up with support.

 

March 19

I enjoy being a frugal homemaker. Being with my adorable kids is wonderful! Besides, it's awesome I can go around and enjoy discounts and special offers of the department stores, restaurants, and hotels during weekdays without crowds. I look forward to taking my son to a children's play this Sat., go for afternoon tea at 國賓 Hotel April 17 and start Yamaha music class next month. I don't want to go back to work after this summer. Two more years' leave would be better, but I don't want to retire late. sigh~

April 17

My baby got 2 teeth at 7 months and he can crawl and stand up with support at 7.5 months.

May 2

Thank my college classmate 怡貞 gave my baby her breast milk almost 1900c.c.. What a blessing!

My mind is in conflict. I hope my baby grows fast and tall. But sometimes I wish he’d kept tiny and little because he looks so cute and would be beside me forever this way. Am I Crazy?

July 26
My little one has 4 teeth and can walk a few steps at 11 months, 2 months earlier than his brother.

Today we went to 東眼 Mt., 小烏來 Skywalk and 大溪花海農場 with my husband’s colleagues. My 3 year old walked the whole journey! We sent our 10.5 month old to the babysitter for the 1^st time and picked him up at 20：30. I surely, definitely, very missed him!

My high school classmate 玟君, who's having a baby boy soon, and her daughter visited this afternoon. We had a very good time!

Sick month

Both of my kids have coughed for over 1.5 months and sometimes had a runny nose. They even had a fever this week! I’ve coughed for 2 weeks. Though I’m not willing to use medicine for colds, we’ve taken the medicine. I hope we all get well soon!

I’ll go back to work and my 1st son will start kindergarten at the end of this Aug. My dad got an easy job and will move back to Taichung tomorrow. He can’t live with us to help out with kids anymore, so I’ll send my 2^nd son to the babysitter. Before he leaves, we had dinner at 石頭溪 today.

crawl contest

I'm 8.5 months old and can crawl fast. It's my first time to take part in a contest and I'm happy I got a good result!

Northeast Coast trip

We went to Northeast Coast and visited 鼻頭 Elementary School today. My son was excited to see the boats. 鼻頭 Elementary School is a beautiful small school on the cliff by the Pacific Ocean. The students must be happy with the hills, huge ocean and sky!

Son：Mommy, I’ll take you outside to play. Play on the slide, go on a bus trip…
Mom：Will you take me to go around when I’m old?
Son：Yes!
Mom：What if when I'm too old to walk?
Son：I’ll hold you.

Finally, it's a sunny weekend! My dad took care of my 6 month old at home.We attended a wedding today.

We spent the holiday in middle Taiwan. We left Taipei for my in-laws' Jan.22 (New Year's Eve) and stayed for 3 days, and then went to my parents' Jan.25 and stayed for a few days. My first son loved to be with my parents and brother. We came home Jan.31 evening.
