My children and I spent 228 holiday with my parents, brother and sister's family in Kaohsiung. Besides, we attended National Taiwan Hakka Children's Choir concert at Weiwuying on Feb.26. My schoolmate gave me 7 tickets and I bought one. Before the concert, my children, niece and nephew performed You Raise Me Up arranged by me outdoors. It's their first flash mob. I'm proud of them!

Regis took part in the annual school science competition on March 4th and received a good result. Mathematical Olympiad final clashed with New Taipei City Science Fair Competition on April 15, so he had to forgo the math final. What a pity! His team did okay in the science fair.

Felix left for Life Resort with school on March 7 for a two-day camping trip. The next day, Regis left for Hualien for a three day graduation trip. The day after returning from the trip, he took the entrance exams of Nanshan High School and was accepted. After discussion, we decided to give up this private school for one term of public junior high music class. However, I was so careless that I missed the deadline to help him register for the entrance exams for public junior high school music class. In the end, he'll have to attend the public junior high school in the neighborhood district, and then take entrance exams again to transfer to the private school after one term.

I took my children south to Chiayi on the afternoon of March 20 to participate in the composition category of the National Music Competition. Glad they got the great experience!

My mom and brother came stay with us on Thursday April 20th. My husband drove me to NTU Cancer Center the next early morning for lining up for my mom to register on-site to see a doctor. My brother took her to the center later in the morning. We had lunch at VeryThai on the way home. On Saturday we went to see my children's music performances together. Three weeks later, she came to stay with us again for 5 days on Mother's Day night.

I've taken Diovan since May. My doctor prescribed one tablet (80mg) a day, but I decided to take half a tablet and try to watch YouTube videos to do 10 min cardio every day.

Christmas month 2022

My dad spent the first weekend with us. I took Regis to a math course at Nanshan High School on the Saturday morning. He'll take part in the math competition (APMOPS) next April. Felix stayed at home with my dad. We went to a vocal concert together on the Sunday afternoon. My sons enjoyed playing Chinese chess with him.

Felix ranked 1st on the exams in his class again and got top scores on math, physics and social studies exams. For National Music Competition next spring Felix started his first composition lesson on Nov.19. Regis started on Dec.11. Mr. Han comes give them lessons once a month for NT$1200.

On Christmas weekend we went go to two concerts. One was a concert by my children's piano teacher and other musicians, and the other was a salon concert by Felix's cello teacher.

Our neighbor, the husband of my husband's colleague, passed away from cancer on Dec.27. I was a little surprised because I didn't expect him to die before the end of this year!

birthday month 2022 福興小農庄 山佳車站

We did our 14^th camping trip with my junior high classmate and her friends at 福興小農庄, Hsinchu on the first weekend. My colleague, husband, Regis and I went on a 11km hike on Nov. 20.

Both of my sons' exam results are the best birthday gifts! They ranked 1st in their classes. Regis got top scores on math and social studies exams. For National Music Competition next spring Felix started his first composition lesson on Nov.19. Regis will start next month. Mr. Han comes give them lessons once a month for NT$1200.

One of my best college classmates came to Taipei for DreamN workshop and stayed with us on the second weekend. We had dinner with another classmate together at 涓豆腐 on Nov.12. It's nice to have an opportunity to meet up with old friends after years of graduation.
